Private Health Insurance

Many Private Health Insurance packages provide ‘extras’ cover which may entitle you to claim rebates for Speech pathology sessions. Each provider and level of cover is different and we suggest contacting your provider to ensure your child is covered and how much the fund will rebate.

Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCDM)

This is a GP managed plan that provides a Medicare rebate for allied health services. If you or your child presents a condition with a minimum of six months, requiring speech services, you may be eligible for a Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCDM). A maximum of 5 total rebates per calendar year for all allied health services.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The NDIS is a funding scheme that provides supports for individuals with permanent and significant disabilities. Bilingo Speech accepts self-funded and plan managed NDIS clients. We cannot take on NDIA managed participants. If you would like to change how you are funded, please contact your Local Area Coordinator.

This is a GP managed plan that provides Medicare rebate for allied health services. It has a lifetime cap of 8 assessments and 20 treatment sessions up to age 25.
